The custom portrait experience consists of three parts: the pre-consultation, the session, and the viewing and ordering appointment. Each part is systemized to produce the greatest experience possible for our clients. Beginning at the pre-consultation, we will hold your hand and walk you through each step of the process. We will get to know you and your personal style so that together we can create beautiful works of art that you will be proud to display in your home. You will complete a detailed client information form online that will help us narrow in on your goals for your session. You will be given access to our private client website with even more information on how to prepare your baby for your session, detailed product information, digital file and printing resources, and step by step instructions on the portrait process.
When the day of your session arrives, all you need to do is show up! Seriously, just get here. We will have everything necessary to care for your baby so you don’t have to worry about a thing. Our studio has all of the essentials for keeping you and your baby comfortable and happy. We will also have plenty of coffee, water, snacks, fresh fruit, and oatmeal in case you get hungry during your session. We understand that just getting out of the house with a newborn is a challenge. If you can make it here, we’ll take care of the rest. And if you’d like to sneak in a quick nap while we work with baby, we are happy to provide you with a cozy blanket and pillow and a comfy place to rest near by.
The Viewing & Ordering Appointment
Approximately two weeks after your session, you will return to the studio for your personal viewing and ordering appointment. We will project your images on the big screen with our HD projection system. We will help you sort through the images one by one and make product selections. This is truly the best part of the entire experience. All of the hard work comes together and you get to simply sit back and enjoy.
